A) My answer to this is you can meet some very nice people within the scene via the internet, spanking parties, events, fetish fairs, contact magazines and newsletters. Exchange E mails, get to know them via that medium ask for photographs and offer yours (these should be *vanilla), exchange telephone calls.  Upon your first meet, I suggest you choose somewhere public (a pub, shopping centre) anywhere where there are a few people about, also have someone you can call or who will call you 10 mins after your arrival time so they know you are ok,  I know all this sounds very much on the cautious side but remember it is your life; both parties should do this and respect each other for doing so. Please bear in mind you are both human beings of the same race if you don't want to do anything YOU have the right to say no, if the person you meet ignores this then they should not be into the scene at all. If you are a bottom by nature be aware of how far you want to go and what you want out of the scene/role play tell the Top, you still have the right to say NO, you are not a doormat to be stamped upon.  If you are a Top respect the bottom, it is a big step for them, listen and watch their reactions, movements and breathing throughout play.
